With accolades from two of the industry’s most prominent organizations, Seasholtz’s impact is both profound and inspiring.
Earlier this month, Heather Seasholtz was honored as one of the "Meeting Professionals of the Year" by Smart Meetings, a prestigious recognition that highlights her exceptional contributions to the industry. This accolade is a testament to Heather’s remarkable ability to blend creativity with strategy, creating memorable and effective events that resonate deeply with attendees. Her approach to event management is not just about executing logistics but about creating experiences that leave a lasting impression.
Heather's leadership extends beyond her role as an event professional. In 2025, she will take on a new challenge as a member of the PCMA (Professional Convention Management Association) Board of Directors. This role is a significant milestone in her career, reflecting her influential position within the industry. Her appointment to the board underscores her commitment to advancing the profession and her dedication to shaping its future.

Heather was already selected to serve as the 2025 Chair of the Events Industry Council’s CMP Governance Commission. The Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) program is created and maintained by meeting professionals worldwide. The Events Industry Council relies on seasoned CMPs to govern the program and to ensure that it is a reflection of the meetings industry. The governing body, known as the CMP Governance Commission, is comprised of representatives from all sectors of the meetings industry, including planners, suppliers, third-party consultants and more.
